Gale Harris, D.V.M
Dr. Harris graduated from Pearl River Community College in 1973. He then attended Southeast Louisiana University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 1976. Dr. Harris continued his education at Texas A & I, where he received his Master of Science degree in Animal Reproductive Physiology in 1978, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University in 1983.
Following the completion of his education, Dr. Harris opened his practice in 1983 in Poplarville, Mississippi where he resides with his family. Today his practice is primarily small animal and equine, although he also treats small ruminants, such as sheep and goats, in addition to some exotic animals.
When he is away from the clinic, Dr. Harris usually can be found spending time with his family or cheering on LSU football or Pearl River Community College baseball. Dr. Harris is also enthusiastic about raising horses and enjoys devoting much of his free time to his equine friends.
